Is Liposome-Based Vitamin C a More Effective Source Than Liquid Vitamin C Supplements?

You may have heard the term liposome lately, but do not know what it refers to. Actually, this term liposome actually refers to small non-protein domains of unknown function, or sometimes referred to as RNases (nantherymes). Liposomal c antioxidant compounds called liposomes are enclosed in non-protein tails which are made up of amino acids. These tails are then detached from the lipid layers of the cells. In other words, liposomes are long chains of amino acids that are enclosed by non-protein tails.

There are two types of the liposome, and these are the lipid-free (or liposomal c) and the liposomal c. Although the liposome has only a single protein tail, it is filled with multiple types of vitamins, minerals, and other compounds that can be transported to the target site. The transport of substances depends on their molecular size. In the case of the liposome, the transport of substances is done by the lymphatic system. Actually, the liposome is very similar to the red blood cell, as it also contains large numbers of red blood cells and other molecules.

Many scientists believe that the liposome is responsible for the absorption of some vitamins such as vitamin C and A. As for the non-vitamin C and A in the liposome, they are thought to be transported by the lymph fluid. In addition, liposomes contain different concentrations of other nutrients including vitamin D, methionine, taurine, cysteine, tryptophan, choline, glycine, and many more. All of these nutrients are transported to the target sites by the liposome.

Some research indicates that the ability of liposomal C to reach the target tissues and other molecules in the human body is not as good as the bioavailability of vitamin C. This is because some scientists argue that the liposome does not reach the target tissues because of its size. However, this is still a debatable topic. The debate continues until concrete proof is presented. Also, there are other types of vitamin C supplements that are capable of increasing the bioavailability of vitamin C. These include Isotretinoin and Pantothenic acid. These types of vitamin C supplements increase the absorption rate of vitamin C. However, it is still debated whether or not they are efficient and effective. What is clear is that there are various types of vitamin C supplements available in the market today and each one of them has their own benefits.

Liposomic vitamin C is considered the best type of supplement since it has the highest bioavailability among all the other forms of vitamin C supplements. Other forms of vitamin C supplements include water-soluble and the fat-soluble vitamin C supplements. The studies indicate that the fat-soluble form of vitamin C is better than the water-soluble form of vitamin C in terms of its absorption. In addition, studies also indicate that the fat-soluble vitamin C is more effective than the water-soluble vitamin C in terms of its antioxidant properties. Studies also indicate that the liposome can be absorbed by human beings with increased amounts of stomach acid.
